Small Things Are Big

Don’t underestimate the small things.

My daughter got a hair cut last week. She had a lot of hair… It crossed my mind to look into donating it. We discussed it and she liked the idea so after the cut we sent in her14 inch-long ponytail to Beautiful Length. For her, what she did wasn’t a big deal. I mean the hair would have fallen on the salon floor, been swept up and disposed of…probably to the garbage. But for someone who receives the real-hair wig that this ponytail went in (it takes 8 to 15 of them to make one wig) it is likely a huge deal.

Big Cut

You know though, a lot of things in life are like that!

When you’re feeling down even something as simple a smile or word of encouragement can make a big difference. And whether you are on the receiving or giving end of it doesn’t it lighten your heart and brighten your day?
