Happy New Year!
I know, we’re almost halfway through January already but here’s a question… What springs to mind for you when you think of the new year?
Somewhere in the mix for many is the “R” word – RESOLUTIONS. Did you make any new year’s resolutions this year? If so, have you been able to stick to it so far?
Some of the most common resolutions for 2017 include:
- Exercise more
- Lose weight
- Eat more healthy
- Take a more active approach to health
- Learn a new skill or hobby
- Spend more time on personal wellbeing
- Spend more time with family and friends
If you haven’t made any resolutions or are looking for some more concrete steps for one of the above try getting creative. I mean that quite literally. A recent study has shown that engaging in one creative activity a day can improve you emotional wellbeing, your work day flow and you relationships. The study also suggested that the expanse of you talent, or not, didn’t have a baring on these positive results. A boon for those who don’t consider themselves to be creative. 😉
